Default Does the ECU store a code for engine over-revving? Meaning that if you mis-shift...

and over-rev the motor will the ECU be able to capture that data and store a code for the dealership to see? I have heard instances of this posted but would like the final word from Ross-Tech if this is the case. I have heard this is a code that cannot be erased by a simple clearing of codes.

Default I could have sworn some one even posted a vag-com printout that said "warranty void :) "

and said that ross-tech added that in to joke around. Are they crazy...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/105074.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/105074.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default There is a fault code with that text but it can be cleared:

00543 - Maximum Engine Speed Exceeded -- Engine Warranty VOID! ;-)
35-10 - - - Intermittent

Correct, the ECU considers driver screwups to be a lesser offense than chiptuner screwups. :-)
