Just picked up the ross-tech usb cable and software...
great product...have been able to make adjustments to my nav and instrument cluster so far.
Tried tonight to get in to 35-central locking and it kept failing, it would make 3 attempts and fail no matter how many times I tried. I would like to unlock both doors with one press on the fob.
Can anyone tell me why I can not access 35?
I have a 2004 S4 Cabriolet
thanks

Because there's no 35 in your car -- use 46 instead.

Got it...now question on using windows with remote
I did read the info on the ross-tech site but am still confused.
In 46 my value is 11788 (same as article) I changed to 11784 and the one touch unlock seems to be working. Now I want to lower windows with remote so I added 64 and input 11848...the one touch unlock seems to still work but no luck with the windows?
thanks

You have to hold the button on the remote for a goodly fraction of a second
before the windows start to move, then keep holding it until they're where you want them.
If that isn't it, try re-teaching them their end stops. With the key on, sitting in the car, run each window all the way up and down a few times by holding the switch on the drivers's door in the up or down position and keep holding it for a full second or two after the window reaches its stop.

Still a no go...is the value for a S4 Cabriolet different?
Again I changed the value for 46 to 11848. I tried each window one at a time, up hold - down hold - 4x each same results.

Hmm, if you break down the 204 into bits,
it appears that neither "windows up with remote" nor "windows down with remote" are enabled.
204 = 128 + 64 + 8 + 4.
Try 207.

On the Cabriolet with channel 62 set to 207 the windows start to go down...
with the remote now but they stop at the same position they would if you were opening the top with the key in the lock (about 3"). They will not go up with the remote.
I am not even going to ask but it would be great to get the top to work with the remote!!
Also when I check the soft coding for 46 I have it set to 11848 but there is a drop down menu it defaults to 0 when I open...should I be looking at these options?
Thank!!
