K1 Short to Ground on 2001 TT

K1 Short to Ground on 2001 TT
Hello-
I have a 2001 Audi TT. The car doesn't connect to OBDC, so I can't get my inspection sticker.
I got a VAG-COM KII-USB, which tells me that K1 is Short to Ground. There's no power to the K-Line pin.
I checked all the fuses in the main fuse panel, I couldn't find any issues. The car has the original Bose radio, which I pulled out and the fuse on it seems fine. With the radio out, I still have no K line power.
I also tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it, no luck.
What else should I check? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any of the diagnostic capable modules in the vehicle could be causing the K line short to ground. Unplug each one and test until all of the modules have been ruled out, or the problem is found.
