Default Need help with cel code 1.8t jetta 2001 wolfsburg edition

1. 17608 Thinking the BPV.
2. 16804 Thinking bad cats.
3. 01314 Thinking battery dying or poor solder on ECU.

I cleared the codes and STFA to see whateveryting means. Just want to confirm what I've read so far. I don't drive this car since it's my girlfriends.I have included the full log we ran on her car. Any help is appreicated.

Default Does it have an aftermarket radio??

If it does, that's why the VAG won't communicate with the ECU. I had the same problem, but if you go to ross tech they will tell you how to fix it. That is, IF she has an aftermarket radio in there.

As far as the cat. You might be right. I don't know how to test them for efficiency.

Take off the BPV and test it, then order a new one if it isn't working. How is the car boosting? Normal?

Default yeah aftermarket HU... Boost seems fine...

But she doesn't have a boost gauage to verify... I need to run some logs to make sure she's getting full boost.
