Need to log boost pressure. How?

My ECU does not have boost pressure input (NOT drive by wire).
Tuner (for custom tune) needs VAGcom log AND boost pressure to accurately tune my custom turbo (1.8T).
I don't want to spend $500 for something like this:

Other suggestions/solutions?

VCDS can only log what the ECU knows and is willing to tell.
If you have an ECU which doesn't know or report manifold pressure, then VCDS cannot log it.
However, I would suggest tha Mass Airflow would be a good proxy for manifold pressure, because that is in fact how your ECU calulates how much fuel to provide.
BTW, I really wonder about a "tuner" who asks you to provide logs of something he should be aware that the ECU cannot provide.

The tuner asks me to get a loggable boost gauge because it is NOT in the Rosstech VAGcom log.
So: any usable suggestion for a loggable boost gauge anywhere?

Probably best to just stop messing around with chip tuning/tuners through stock ECU (no pressure/boost info) and move right to a piggyback control and a pressure sensor.
I have in mind the Haltech Sprint 500
