Default New cluster.. No NAV. VAG Error

Okay, so I finally took care of that faded dash that I have had for the longest time. I picked up a 2001 S4 Cluster with the old logo so that it matches mine.

I install it no problem, everything works good. Except for my NAV. I looked at the part numbers and its the same. I tried to look at Ross-Tech's page for the coding, and I tried to put it in, but it still is no go.

I am getting this error from VAG:

Block 37:Navigation:
VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-S

Control Module Part Number: 4B0 919 887 B
Component and/or Version: Navigation BNO 0001
Software Coding:
Work Shop Code:
1 Fault Found:
01311 - Information Data Bus
49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
AlexM.

Default This is what AESIS repair manual says

DTC:
01311
Data Bus Information 2)

No communication

Possible Cause:
The central unit and the navigation unit which are connected to each other via a CAN-bus are located in the navigation control module.

Internal short circuit or short circuit to Ground (GND) of a bus wire between the central unit and the navigation unit in navigation control module.

Corrective Action:
- Navigation control module does not have to be replaced if the system remains functional (the control module then switched to one-wire operation).
- The control module must be replaced if the system no longer functions.

2) This DTC indicates a databus malfunction in the internal data wire between the central unit and navigation unit inside the navigation control module.

Default So.. does that mean my cluster is bad?

When I replace it with my old one, the NAV system still works.
