My Q7, like so many new cars, has this one-touch blinker, i.e. for lane change when you just quickly touch the blinker right or left you get automatic 3 blinks.

Does anybody know if it is possible to change the number of blinks for this lane change function? I would like to have 4 blinks as 3 doesn't seem to be quite enough for me.

I didn't find a currently documented method, but that necessarily doesn't mean it's not possible. If there's a way, it's probably hiding in one of the Adaptation channels in the 09-Central Electric module. The easiest way to look would be to make an adaptation channels map from that module, then see if any of the channels have a 3 in them...

It is not unusual for some Adaptation Channels in newer control modules to require a security access. Try 12151.
