I had no problems with VAGCOM nor my comp until today when I could not log channels above 25, when I discovered that my copy has somehow deactivated. I purchased a copy of the full version in Sept. and now I can't activate it.
I have the Activation code from Linda corresponding to the serial number I sent to Ross-Tech but putting that activation code on the copy of the expired VAGCOM gives an invalid error that it does not match to the serial number.
What do I do? I need to reformat my comp but what info does Ross-Tech need so that I can reactivate it after reformat.
Thanks,
Alen

and VAG-COM has becoem de-activated, chances are the two conditions are related. So long as you're using the same PC, it shouldn't be a big deal. Some links for your persual:

Hello -
I am sorry but this serial number does not decrypt as the same PC that you had previously registered with us. Please send us a deactivation for the earlier copy of VAG-COM and we will be happy to send you a new activation code.
For more information on deactivations, please see this link from our FAQ:
http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/faq_5.html
You will find detailed instructions on how to deactivate at the bottom of FAQ entry, question number 5.2.
Best Regards,
Linda Ross
Ross-Tech LLC
This is the same laptop that I had vagcom on before. So how can we solve this issue?

you gave no explanation whatsoever when you filled out the form. Yet the form clearly states:
"If this is not your first request for an activation code and you are not supplying a de-activation code, you must provide a detailed explanation here."
OTOH, the boiler-plate response you got wasn't really the correct one for this situation, and for that I apologize.
Check your e-mail again.
