Remote operation of windows, up OK down No
Please help
I use your product on 3 Audi's and am very happy with it.
Now have a problem with my 2009 A4 (B8) premium plus.
A few years ago when I first got the VAG-COM I programmed the car to allow the remote to open and close windows. Everything worked fine. (I also did this on my other two Audis). About 4 months ago the dealer had the car to do an oil consumption service bulletin. The dealer must have reprogrammed the car because when I got the car back, remote operation of windows didn't work. Also in Jan 2013, both driver door and left rear door were removed and replaced due to being T-boned.
Monday Jul 22, attempted to program for remote window operation. Used the long code helper function and also found the Window menu on the Audi MMI CAR function. Set it for front door and rear door. Windows close with remote but do not open with remote. Activated Sunroof and it opens and closes with remote.
The question, why don't the windows open with remote?
Below is the auto-scan from the A4 taken MOndayd. I notice it shows two faults for Address 46: Central Conv. (J393)
Is this a hardware problem or software or programming?
Second subject - Can the A4 be configured for Rest of World (Germany) lighting?

Don't know if this will sound stupid to you but perhaps the control module has forgotten the upper and lower limits of the window travel. I've seen weird things like this happen before.
Roll the window completely down using the window down button in the door. When the window gets to the bottom, hold the button in the down position for 30 seconds.. Now run the window up. Hold the button in the up position. Now test that you can tap the switch for the window to go down and tap it for the window to go all the way up.
Now see if the remote function will make it do what it should do.
