Removed and replaced ABS fuse now lots of problems... :(
I removed the ABS fuse whilst drying to troubleshoot a problem then quickly replaced it this afternoon however it seems to have set off a chain of events which basically means everything has gone up the kazoo.
I also removed the black plastic pin cover above the right hand fuse panel, under the same cover but a black cover with lots of pins underneath and purple plastic hinge. This may be more the problem anyhow ...
This is in an Audi A8 D3.
ABS doesn't work, a/c, door closing, windows, central locking etc etc etc.
Having a look via VAGCOM it can't communicate with lots of modules "Cannot be reached" such as Auto HVAC etc.
Clearing faults doesn't make any difference.
Having a look at the vagcom log produces the below. As the ABS was the most visible sign of the problem I tried to clear that and recode the steering sensor however it wont calibrate properly and I guess I am probably missing something more important!

So thanks for the all the replies!
Turns out that somehow after removing the ABS fuse and Right hand front door fuse I must have knocked another fuse.. Anyway, I pushed every single fuse in doubly yesterday and pop it all started working again.
I guess prehaps some of these devices are connected in serial and knocking one out knocks out several? I had performed a Optical Bus test and all perfomed OK, so it didn't appear to be a MOST problem.
The initial problem that prompted me to remove the door fuse was my heated mirror, mirror adjustment, automatic door closing and under handle lights have stopped working, so I wanted to check the fuse. Then something else prompted me to remove the ABS fuse as I've had some issues with the parking break recently.
Anyway, hopefully something useful for people to know..!
