Replaced my instrument cluster today now MPG is stuck at 200.0 -
I picked up a brand new remanufactured cluster from the dealer for my '00 A6 4.2, set up the correct odometer mileage, activated the navigation code, but now the MPG is stuck at 200.0 and never changes. Is there something I missed or need to change in the adaption mode?

Please post part numbers from the old and new cluster. Also please double check if...
...the values in adaptation channels 60, 61 and 62 are OK.

The values in adaptation channels of the new cluster are: #60: 1025, #61: 0, #62: 4
Unfortunately I never checked these numbers in my old cluster and it would be a real big pain in the A$$ if I had to reinstall the old cluster just to pull out these values. Are there standard codes for 60, 61, and 62 to turn on the MPG meter? or do I have to stick the old cluster back in?

Great News...Problem Fixed..New Cluster works PERFECT!!!...
After much research, I found out that out that Audi did not equip the 2000 A6 4.2 model with either a Powertrain CAN (Ch 60)or Comfort CAN (Ch61) Databus. That year was only equipped with an Information CAN Databus(Ch 62) if it had either the navigation or telephone system installed at the factory.
When I pulled the adaptation codes from my new cluster, I noticed that there was a 1025 value for channel 60 (Powertrain CAN). So I changed that to a "0" and like magic the MPG was working again, displaying realistic numbers instead of 200.0 MPG.
