Shade Tree ProDiag

Shade Tree ProDiag
Shade Tree seems to have been aquired and their parent company web site is not yet carrying database updates. Does anyone know where I can get the most recent database for ProDiag? I just got a 2007 Jetta, and my currently loaded database does not include this year.
Thanks,
Ken
Thanks,

Re: Shade Tree ProDiag
uh... This is the VAG-COM forum. Please post your request in the ProDiag forum. Good luck with your search.

consider this:
1) this is the Vag-Com (not ProDiag/Actron/Snap On/VWTool/OTC) forum
2) Ross Tech does a HUGE amount of R&D (meaning spends a lot of money) to make the best VW/Audi scan tool soft/hardware available
3) Bruce works for Ross Tech
If you were Bruce, would you take the time to direct someone to a "competing" product?

consider this:
Bruce did manage to take the time to answer.
VAG-COM and ProDiag are two very different products. Yes, they do compete on some levels, but there are enough differences that I know people who own both. Helping Kepstein source info on a ProDiag that he already owns does nothing to hurt VAG-COM. Bruce's response makes VAG-COM look kind of petty IMHO.
Disclaimer: I don't know Bruce and I have been a VAG-COM customer for roughly ten years. I have not used ProDiag but I have seen it.

I'll respectfully disagree here...
it's akin to asking APR (going concern) to help with deciphering source code on a Wetterauer (mostly defunct in the US) chip. I don't think it's petty at all.
Really, a 10 second web search turns up every possible source of information about Shadetree, HPA and the status of ProDiag that one could possibly want, including contact phone numbers of both companies.

Re: consider this:
4Driver4,
I did take the time to suggest the guy take a look elsewhere, trying to infer that it is not appropriate to be asking questions about a product which is not sponsoring this forum. I thought I did that in a kind way rather than simply saying "this matter is off topic". Perhaps you disagree with my view and we simply will have to agree to disagree on this point.
You do realize that this forum costs Ross-Tech money don't you? In addition to Ross-Tech personnel spending not only their business and personal time in this forum, we also spend some money to host it for the purpose of giving our "customers" a place to get answers. Would you suggest we should spend our dollars to help ProDiag customers? Surely you would not.
You call it petty for me to say, "Please look elsewhere." I call it an attempt to keep our dollars focused on helping those who have paid for and use our product.
Thanks Bracketracer. I do appreciate your support.
