Someone care to enlighten me to these changes?
Downloaded 512-1 and went to recode Cent Elec. Controller and noticed the coding was quite different from the numbers provided by Theresias. Appears to be multiple module choices for several different controllers in the car.

Do me a favor post (or send it via email) a complete Auto-Scan from your car and...
...tell us exactly what you would like to change. I havn't checked the A8 stuff a while, so it's quite possible there have been some changes.

I'm going over it and looks like the Facelift A8's have gone to the new coding like the 4F A6
But I've never seen anything in the extras area of the contorllers before.
I looked over the A6 list and this is what I came up for the A8...not sure if its 100% correct with the Daytime Running light digits (5&6)

I checked the old 4E table with some latest scans (still would like to see yours) and...
...it appears that the old one is not complete, so I'm going to fix that. The 4E and 4F tables are not exactly the same, but they are similar. There was no real facelift of the 4E, they simply changed the grill, electronics havn't been changed much.

Here is the auto - scan...
I know that not many electrical components have changed, but the instrument cluster, PDC, Central Electronics and Xenon Range definitely have changed for Facelift cars. With my previous version (510-x), I never saw anything in the extras or multiple modules in the controllers.
BTW I had translated several of the german pages to english and was going to send them until my hard drive crashed. I'll send them once I finish again.

Thanks for the scan. Since there wasn't a labelfile for the centrl. electr. control module...
...I created one, but it has nothing more than coding info at the moment. It's planned to create some more files for the 4E in the near future.
Also you are right, there have been minor updates to the control modules, but these were the "normal" model year based changes, we are not talking about a real facelift here.

Codeable "Slave" modules.
In this case, your 09-Cent.Elect. module has two codeable "Slaves", the Wiper module and the Rain & Light sensor.
You have to pick which one of them you want to code. The main module, or one of its slaves.
(Yes, I realize you've probably figured this out by now. I'm posting this to educate the casual reader).

My site only had the old non-AFS coding charts. Updated the labelfile for the AFS control module.

I've never noticed it before so it was odd to my eyes. Out of curiosity how is the BIM-COM coming along? I need to lower the rear suspension on my 760 and the dealers refuse to do it here.
