specified vs actual boost (ch115) - lag and peak after, whining noise
a6 2.7t manual 1999 (uk) 95k miles
runs fine, recently started that whine when boost comes on
channel 115 - actual matches specified well, but there is a lag before it gets to the required pressure. then when i take my foot off accelerator, eg after WOT, at max revs, there is a peak in the actual pressure. i guess i need new bypass valves (mine are stock, one year old, but what about the lag in getting to pressure, do i have a leak??
