Default Swapped out ECU for an APR one and now getting code: 18057-

Data Bus Powertrain Missing message from ABS Control Module. It didn't have the code with the stock ECU and I can't clear it. ABS module shows no fault codes. The car is a 2001 A4 1.8tqm w/o ESP. Any ideas? The AW search is not working.
TIA

Do the old and new ECU's have exactly the same VAG Numbers and Soft Coding?

Default Same part numbers...

I don't know what you mean by soft coding though.

Default So, I have to put the original ECU back and check what its soft code is?

Then do I use the "Recode" button to try and change the new ECU soft coding to the same as the original one? I haven't had the VAG-COM for long, so I don't know how to use it very well, but I appreciate yours and Andy's help on this forum.

Default Well, you have to put the original ECU back in

to check the coding to see if it's the same, yes. And if it's not the same, then you should recode the new one.
