Default Turn off Brakepad Wear Sensor?

I swapped the stock pads for racing pads and have the brake pad sensor lit up on my dash. I bought vag-com to disable it. I was able to find the page for the Golf 5 platform (I assume that is my car's platform since I was able to use the micro-cam interface). According to the instructions on that page I should have been able to turn off the brakepad wear sensor by subtracting 1 from the soft coding changing it from 0049268 to 0048268 but it was a no go. Any suggestions?

Default Just put a jumper in your brake wear sensor connector.

The wear sensor is just a wire in your brake pad that is broken (open circuits) when wear limit is reached.

Default We tried that but it did not work :( Vag-Com does not work either...

It seems likely that no configurations of your car were sold without wear sensors. You may want to install a jumper at the brake pad wear sensor connection since, per the label file, I don't see any Coding options that would allow you to remove the brake pad wear sensor monitoring:

C00,Instrument Cluster (J285) Coding
C01,????xxx: Equipment
C02,+0001 = 2nd Fuel Tank Characteristic (All-Wheel Drive)
C03,+0002 = Highline without DIS (for Midline PR-9Q3)
C04,+0004 = Manual Transmission (not Midline PR-9Q3)
C05,+0008 = 2nd Tire Circumference Pair (e.g. Winter Tires)
C06,+0016 = Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS)
C07,+0032 = AFS (Advanced Front Lighting System (cornering lights)
C08,+0064 = Magnetic Ride Suspension
C09,xxxx?xx: Country
C10,0 = Germany / 1 = Rest of World (RoW - Left Hand Steering) / 2 = USA / 3 = Canada
C11,4 = Great Britain (Right Hand Steering) / 5 = Japan (Left Hand
Steering) / 6 = Arabien States
C12,7 = Australia / 8 = Rest of World (RoW - Right Hand Steering) / 9 = Japan (Right Hand Steering)
C13,xxxxx?x: Seatbelt Warning
C14,0 = No Seatbelt Warning / 1 = Seatbelt Warning (EU-NCAP) / 2 = Seatbelt Warning (NAR Old)
C15,3 = Seatbelt Warning (NAR New) / 4 = Seatbelt Warning (EU-NCAP incl.
Passenger)
C16,5 = Seatbelt warning (NAR Old incl. Passenger) / 6 = Seatbelt Warning (NAR New incl. Passenger)
C17,xxxxxx?: Illumination & Washer Fluid Warning C18,0 = Needles OFF and Scales OFF (Term. 15 ON / Term. 58 OFF) / 1 = Needles ON and Scales OFF (Term. 15 ON / Term. 58 OFF)
C19,2 = Needles OFF and Scales ON (Term. 15 ON / Term. 58 OFF) / 3 = Needles ON and Scales ON (Term. 15 ON / Term. 58 OFF)
C20,+4 = Washer Fluid Warning
