Default Unable to measure MAF

I tryed to measure my MAF in order to improve fuel consumption which is not that bad but still, if i speed so much money on o2 senzor etc why not to finish work.

To the problem I'm using Vag Com 409.1 with cheap ebay cable.
So far this combination served me well.

My car is Audi A4 B5 (year 1995) 1.8 non-turbo 92kw ( ADR type)
When I try to measure group 032 it gives me error unable to connect. At group x ( x i'm not sure if it was 2 or 3) on field was MassAirFlow but its value was N/A. Does this mean problem MAF, controller or my car does not support reading this value?

My car was running and showing cur RPM etc. So vag-com was connected.

If your VAG-COM 409 is licensed you can update to VCDS-Lite for free, and VCDS-Lite incluces more information for your ADR engine.

If your VAG-COM 409 is not licensed, then you can't possibly be looking at Group 032 unless you've applied some sort of hack, and in that case, you're not going to get any help from us.
