2004 A6 4.2 - $7900
Well, after 10 years, the time has come to part with my 2004 A6 4.2 as I've recently purchased a 2015 A6 3.0T. I am listing the car for sale at $7900.
It's Irish Green with Cashmere Leather. The VIN is WAUML64B24N051531. I bought it in May 2005 as an Audi Certified car with 16k on it. It now has 96,700K miles.
Options:
-Cold Weather Package (heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, heated side mirrors)
-Warm Weather Package (moonroof with integrated solar panel, rear window powered sunshade, manual rear side window shades)
-Premium Package (powered tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power side mirrors, rear HVAC)
-17" Aluminum Alloy Wheels
-Rear Side Airbags
-Navigation
-Bose
-Satellite Radio
-HID Headlights
At 25k I added the OEM Sport Suspension dampers and H-Sport anti-roll bars. I've also replaced all exterior/interior halogen bulbs with Ziza LED lights. I replaced the round exhaust tips with black chrome oval Ractive tips. I've got a pair of Hella smoked rear taillights that come with the car.
Condition is very good. I've been a long-time Audi owner and Porsche owner and I am meticulous with service and care of my cars. This car has been garage-kept its entire life. It has typical wear and tear-some road rash on the bumpers and lower side sills just ahead of the F/R tires and a couple of light scratches and paint chips. Interior is excellent-no tears in door cards, seats, dash, etc. The driver's seat side bolster has slight leather cracking from getting in and out of the car.The markings on the +/- temp buttons on the HVAC are worn off as is the driver side door lock button. One of the rear ashtray covers won't stay closed. The mats are in good shape but probably could be replaced. The wheels have some curbing and road rash.
It has had all mileage interval service performed over my ownership. I have every service record since I bought it and the binder of receipts will go with the car. It was serviced at West Broad Audi in Richmond,VA while under warranty and since then all work on the car has been performed by Import Autohaus in Richmond, VA. I ran a Carfax report on 3/29/15.
Recent service on the car:
Drivers Side Valve Cover Gasket/Left Axle Seal/Water Pump/Oil Cooler/Seals - 3/19/15. 95,327 miles
Tires (Continental DWS) - 1/30/15, 94,209 miles
Oil Change/Battery - 10/2/14, 90,883 miles
Left Front Drive Axle/Front Brake Hoses/Coolant Expansion Tank - 7/14/14, 87,588 miles
New Brake Rotors/Pads - 5/29/14, 85,835 miles
Oil change 2/14/14, 82,671 miles
Timing Belt - 5/28/13 76,226 miles
The 4.2 A6 is a fairly rare car. I love it for its distinctive widebody fender flares and 5-spoke aluminum wheels. This is the last year of the C5 platform. The V8 pulls hard and it handles well for a big German sedan.
The car is located in Richmond, VA. I really want the car to go to someone who will enjoy and appreciate the car as much as I have. If you're interested, PM me or email me at cmiele318atgmaildotcom.
Thanks for looking!
Chris
