Hello!
I had to replace the rear lid lock on my -91 Audi 100 Avant Turbo (C3 modell) but noticed that the lock could not be taken apart like all the other doors locks on the car and I don't want to have two keys for my car. So how did Audi do it when they build the cars?? Did they have the rear lock adapted to the each separate key (must have ment several hundred thousand, or millions combinations for the rear lock).
All other door locks on the Audi 100 have seven small metal pieces, numbered 1-4 that make up the key combinations. See picture below.
But the rear lock on the Avant doesn't have these metal pieces. So how did they do it?? -Curious!!
