13mm offset difference....issue?
Looking for a set of new rims/tires for my 07 A6 4.2 Quattro. Stock is 18x8...48mm offset....57.1 hub size....5-112 bolt pattern
I found a few rims with all same specs except 35mm offset. Called the guy at the seller site and he suggested staying within 5mm offset difference. I.e, no more than 43mm offset.
48-35= 13mm= 0 33/64in. Is that really a space difference I need to be worried about? Am i missing something? ....thx
