Default 16" rims on an '07 A3, minimum width?

I'm about to buy a 16" steel rim snow tire package, and would like to go skinnier than the 205's recommended at TireRack. Is this a 16x6.5 rim? If so, can I either put a 195 on that rim, or could I put a 16x6 rim on my car with a 185 or 195? Will this mess my alignment or anything else up?
