I picked them out because of their light weight and reasonable price (not at LLTek). Why do you say they're poseur wheels?
BTW, I'm not trying to chastise your opinon or defend Rimstock. I'm genuinely interested in what's wrong with this choice of wheel.

They were fine wheels. The only problem I had was that one dealer used some crazy caustic stuff that ate through some of the blue anodizing on the centercap covers. That stuff must have been REALLY harsh, because I tried to remove the blue so that I could repaint it. Not easy at all.
Anyhow, I never had a problem with the actual wheels, and I had them for about 2 years and 17k miles or so. I hit a few potholes that I thought for sure would have bent them, but they were still just fine (no leaking, still round, etc). Balanced and checked on a Hunter GSP9700.
