but it will depend on what you expect out of the car at the end of the day. The 19s look 'right' on the visually heavy shape of the B6 but unless you go forged they are heavy and can bend easier than 18s.

I think too many people automatically opt for a larger wheel because it's the thing to do.
The smaller wheel will give you a better ride and will look better if you tend to lower the car.
What's more important?
Looks or ride quality?
If looks 19"
If ride quality 18" (even if you don't lower it...18z will still look good but 19z better.

ride isn't as harsh as i expected. in fact, the difference in ride comfort is not so significant. I actually like how it rides now. btw, i'm on stock sport suspension.
note that if the road condition's not good in your area, 19" will not be suitable.
