I remember reading someplace the 19" uses a different process. I don't remember exactly what it was - something like the outer rim is spun then the center is forged onto it or something wacky like that. It is definately not the same as say the 18".

The SL modular wheels are assembled in a true 3 piece fashion, utilizing a cast inner section, spun aluminum outers (akin to forging in trms of weight and strength, however), and the actual center of the wheel IS a forged aluminum center.
OZ does support the repair of this particular wheel, as well, something that many modular designs cannot offer in terms of the replacement of damaged wheel sections!
Call me if you have any other specific questions about them, or if you should need to grab a set!
