2 nails in tread of 20" Z-Rated. Can they patch?

Are you really going Z speeds? If yes then you should have money to buy new tire.
If not and stay below 120mph then patching is possible long as it is on thread and small nails. Time to visit real tire shop...

Also depends on how close the nails are to the sidewalls. If they are more towards the center of the tread, then you should just patch them. And yes, if youre going Z speeds, buy a new tire.

no z speeds. Can I use a 20" for a spare on the 19" if same diameter?

I've had two nails in my porsche rears plugged with success. No leaks no issues and drove about 8000 miles/1 year on them until I replaced the tires. One was in the center of the tread, one was a bit close to the shoulder.

You should be able to patch them fine. I had a nail in the middle of one of my tires once...took it to a tire guy locally and he plugged it. Worked great, no leaks...drove it over 10k miles until I returned the car lease. Even drove triple digit speeds on it a few times
