Hi,

Have a 2005 a6 with 17s and Michlens.

Time to find new tires.

Want a larger diameter tire/wheel.

Here's the input I am seeking:

1) I don't want to get a rough ride. Given this would you suggest 18 or 19?
2) Based on #1 what size tire? What Brand/Style for all-season (live in Michigan).
3) Since I need new wheels when going to larger tire any recommendations on brand? Want painted silver.

Read the reviews from Tire Rack to determine the all season for you. I love the Contis (see my link) but I would never consider another winter in them (or any other all season) I run all seasons on the RS4 for summer tires. But for winter use put snows on your 17"s .

If they are from a B7 2008 A4 then yes. I don't think the B8s will fit as the bore of the wheel is different.
