I just took delivery of a 2012 A4 Prestige with the Titanium package. I'm curious what other owners do during the winter months?
I live in VA so we don't get a TON of snow annually. Therefore, I'm thinking of just buying some all-season tires (anyone have exp. with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Tires?) at the same size as the summer performance tires and then just swapping them on and off through the seasons until the summer tires wear out.
Appreciate any information and insight.

All season tires will get you through some light snow if you drive slowly and carfully and plan for longer stopping distances. Winter tires are, of course, superior in snow and ice but trade off some dry traction and steering response.

narrow is much better for snow, if you have quattro a top rated all season may be enough for you, keep in mind all season tires get harder when it gets colder, depending on what you want and the $$ you are willing to spend, a set of winter tires on different rims are great, remounting yearly gets $$, the right tires can save a fender bender too, cheap insurance for a $$$$ car
