Default In one word, yes...

I believe that you are talking about the 205/60R15 tires going to a 225/60? You could probably go up one size and not find a major difference, but two sizes up is too much. Wider isn't always better... if you try to put a tire that wide on the 7" rim (I believe that's the stock width) then you'll run into handling problems that would more than offset your increase in tire width.<p>To keep a constant rim/tire diameter, to replace a 205/60R15 with a 225 you would have to go to a 225/55R15. However, because the rim isn't wide enough (I think that you would need a 7.5" rim) it would pinch in the sidewalls of the tire, and you'd probably not get a wider contact patch. <p>You can go to a 215, but a 225 is too much of a stretch for the stock rims.<p>Mark
