I just got Toyo T1's in 235/40/ZR17 put on my RONAL 17X8.5 wheels. After I got home (it is now dark), I was checking out the tires, and when I put my hand inside the front wheelwell, I found that there is barely any clearance between the upper control arms and the inner sidewall of the tires, YIKES! But after driving home over 45 minutes, there is no sigen of the tires rubbing on the arms. But then I wonder if there is body lean during an AutoX, WILL there be any rubbing?<p>And now the next question - if I get race springs and lower the car, does it just effect the height of the body, or will it also effect the upper control arms too? If it does effect the arms, then I just might be in trouble.
