'97 A6 Quattro will a 205/60/R16 fit?

Sorry if this has been asked, but I'm new to the forum. I am running 205/55/16s, and found a deal on some nice snows, but they are 60 instead of 55. My mechanic said there might be a clearance issue. Anyone have firsthand knowledge? Thanks.

I've used 205/65-15 on that car, so if it's smaller, then fine. iirc, I used 215/55-16 too.
