Default A3 wheel offset question

Looking at 17x8, offset 35 wheel with 225- or 235/45-17 tires. Will it fit? Couldn't find any answers searching forum. Any suggestions appreciated.

Offset range is higher on this car, more like 40-50+. I'd imagine you could fit the 35mm offset wheel if the car isn't lowered and you use 225/45R17. Worst case you might need some minor fender lip rolling.

Oops! I neglected to mention in my original post that I have the oem sport suspension, now known as s-line, if that makes a difference.

Our wheels are ET45 or ET48 (depending on width/diameter), for the A3 fitments.
