Another offset question-if you add a spacer is that added to the offset or subtracted?

For example if i had a wheel that had a 35mm offset and i add a 12mm spacer, is the offset now 47mm or is it now 23mm?

Offset is measured in millimeters, based n how far *outboard* the mounting surface is relative to the wheel centerline. So if you add a spacer, the mounting point goes *in*, pushing the wheel *out*.
Ergo, an offset of 35 is really "-35" and is farther OUT than one of -45. A ricer offset would be Zero.
For proper handling and steering, stay within 5-10mm of stock. if that doesn;t work, the wheels dont fit.
