Anyone know if the wheels on the TT will fit the 2000 A4? TIA

The answer is based on platforms. Each platform has a bolt pattern. Volkswagen/Audi has only a very few platforms (and the industry envies them for it).
Lupo platform - also used for some Skodas and Seats. (Lupo is a small VW not brought to the US). I don't know the bolt pattern for this.
Golf platform - also used for a Seat, plus Bora/Jetta, TT, A3/S3, New Beetle - bolt pattern 5x110.
A4/A6 platform - also used for Passat - bolt pattern 5x112
A8 platform - only used for A8, bolt pattern 5x112.
I don't know what the various vans use. Also, one van (the Sharan?) I think isn't even based on a VAG platform.
So, it isn't really VW vs Audi, its platforms. Some people like to call the Golf platform since it is largely VWs (in the US), and the A4 platform an Audi platform since it is 2/3rds Audis.
