Default best place to buy one stock A5 18" wheel from?

5-spoke, part # 8T0-601-025-M

http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com has it for $429.00 ($550.00 msrp) but I am not sure about the cost of shipping. Does anyone know how much it may cost approx? If close to or over $100, may just get it from a dealer.

Any advice?
Thanks

Check Craigslist always. There is a wheel for sale section here on the forums as well you might find something. I found 5 Ds2 M3 wheels on Craigslist for 335 bucks. with two tires..I thought it was a steal, good luck.

I work for UPS...........Call these guys(selling the rim) ask them how much the rim weighs. Then based on the box and packaging add 2 pounds, aproximately.

A reputable Audi Tech tells me a 18 to 19" rim ,typically will weigh about 24 to 30 lbs.Larger rim more weight, right?

You can even open an account with UPS on line.-Is simple issue the paperwork and have the UPS go to the origin and pickup whatever item you want. Also 1800-ups-pickup

Hartman wheels makes replicas that are exact OEMs as yours and will be less expensive.Dont get taken by the dealership, they wont cut you a break.

Do you have a full spare? If you do use that one. Then get Hartman wheel and place that one in the trunk.Good luck.

It's an interesting idea. However, the seller is notorious for not having a contact phone and, in general, not begin flexible - a trade-off for the low prices.

the dealership is ridiculous indeed. asking $720 plus tax for a $550 msrp item.
