There are a lot of good recommendations here for a number of tires. I am going from an A4Q, to the TT, and was hoping for some spefic suggestions. On the A4, I went to Pirelli 7000's M+S for all season use, and they performed quite well in dry, wet and snow. However, they also were noisy, and wore out extremely fast.
I dont want to go to a pure "snow" tire simply because we have approximately 15-20 actual days where there are snow problems where I live, each winter. That leaves about 100 winter days where I do not want to have to live with the poor performance of a snow tire, especially on a car I am spending this much for based on performance.
What would all of you recommend as the highest performance all season tire, that works adequately in snow? All input much appreciated. Thanks.
