It's time to replace my Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's after a nasty bubble developed in one of teh sidewalls. I really liked the PS2's but at $225 a tire, they're too expensive. I've narrowed down my choices to either the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions or Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. Have any of you had good/bad experiences running either/both of these tires? How would you rate them on quietness/dry&wet grip, etc? The Bridgestones are rated #1 on Tire Rack but Car&Driver did not like them very much. I've heard that Dunlop is discontinuing the SP Sport Maxx, if this is true I'll be SOL if I get a flat. Any suggestions?
