Default I've got snows, but Uzanak runs 225/40/18 Pirelli P7000SS here in CO. He loves them! (nt)

Default I have run P7000SS and Dunlop 4000A/S in snow, BUT...

...they don't come near the performance of the Pirelli WS210A. The difference in snow traction is larger than the difference in dry traction. They aren't scary or dangerous (depending how you drive), but I wouldn't recommend them for anything longer than "just to get home" from your work etc.

I've run Nitto 450s on a Mitsubishi GSX - AWD, they handled the snow and dry well (Z rated) and have a tread rating of 300 so last very well also.
Haven't tried them on my A4 yet but plan to.
