It depends.
A 235/45R17 is ideal for the car, sure.
On the OEM S4 wheels, they are only 7.5" wide, so you need to make sure the particular tire you are looking at will accept a 7.5" wheel width as a minimum to safely mount onto the wheel. (Most 235s will need an 8" minimum)
