Your in luck....i happen to be a car audio installer. Your factory deck will work with a Panasonic after market changer...either the 6 or the 8 disc....i have the eitht. You can get the adaptor at all most any car audio store, i would find a local Panasonic dealer to help you...also, i paid around $220 for my changer and $30 for ther adaptor if that helps any. When you get the changer it takes about 5 min to put in...the cord is already ran at the factory...hope i was of help.
If your car is a 99.5, you don't need a bracket. There's already one in there, below the tool box. You just need to get the CD changer. Get one from Clair, $270 I think. Many have post in the General A4 discussion that they had problems with Autotoys.com. I'd go with Clair, good and quick service than go through the headaches of Autotoys.com to save a few bucks.
HTH,
Mark

Just bought one from iQVC.com for $198. No need for adaptor for 99.5, or so it says. I should receive it tomorrow. Will post.
