decent all seasons for a4 quattro
thinking about getting some Continental ContiExtremeContact tires for the whip.
anyone had experience with these? i live in chicago and need some good snow/ice-rain traction, also need some that will survive some seriously bogus potholes.
current tire (and spare) have gigantic impact bubbles from aforementioned potholes, and the city's budget isn't getting any bigger. its going to be a long winter. any advice??

Great all season tire, especially for snow. However this tire is being phased out in many sizes, so getting a replacement down the road may be difficult to impossible if you had a failure. What size tire?

These were indeed discontinued and sold out completely in this size, sorry.
The replacement tire is called the Extreme Contact DWS and would certainly be a recommended tire for the conditions you're describing.

thanks again mr gary. i think i may end up going with those. and theres a deal for a free camera. now i'll be able to document pothole damage and maybe mayor daley can pay for my next set. now to find an installer...
