Default Difference Between 235/45/17 and 225/45/17 tires?

I have a 2001.5 1.8tqm with sports suspension..celebration package, 225/45/17 Michelin Pilots. I'm thinking of buying a friends toyo's 235/45/17 tires.. A coworker said they could rub.

anyone have any suggestiong/ recommendations?

Default You're speedometer will need to be recalibrated

Not worth the hassle/cost IMO. If you want to go 235, you should get 235/40/17, which keeps the same overall diameter of the 225/45/17 OEM tires.

Believe it or not it seems to depend on the brand of Tire. Check the Mfr's spec for revs/mile.
