this is the $120 question. im looking at the kumho ecsta mx. they are $107 for 225/40/18 but the 235/40/18 are $150. i do NOT want the stretched look. wheel is oz st's 18x8. right now im runnign the pirelli pzero nero ms at 235 because they run narrower than most other 235 width tires. anyone know?? gary??

We have not found that Kumho or Michelin summer tires run particularly wide or narrow for their size. An all season tire like the Nero M+S may not appear quite as wide due to the tread pattern to some eyes.

Tires

both having the same pattern. im just going off of how the michelin 225 and the pirelli 235 fit. they both had about the same amount of "rim protection".

They should be close, but much of this is based on cosmetic appearance of the tread rather than actual differences in size.
