Does BBS make or have any relation to Moda wheels?

Does BBS make or have any relation to Moda wheels?
My brother has, or we thought he had Moda wheels on his used 96 Maxima. But I took of one of his wheels today and once we got the Moda center caps off I noticed it says BBS on the rims. I was just curious if they are somehow related or if the previous owner just stuck some Moda center caps on some BBS wheels. Thanks.

To my knowledge, Moda wad a BBS sub-brand at one
point and was marketed by Tire Rack at such. It would
seem that in recent months Moda has become a house
brand or sub-brand of Radius instead, and the old Moda
logo that said "by BBS" under it has been re-designed.
If you have a set of the old "Moda Sport" wheels, they
would very likely be stamped "BBS" on the inside of the
casting.
