Dunlop M3/3D vs Nokian WR.. how would they compare??

I love the Dunlop 3D and had Nokians
I cannot comment about the recent Nokian, but they are probably great tires. I had some Nokian NRW's (I think evolved into the WRs) on an Audi 100Q, and loved them. Great winter performance and wear. I currently have a set of Dunlop 3D's (don't confuse these with the M3's, which were the previous generation, that I would not recommend over the 3D) on an 05 S4 and I love them too. They are very quite too (not sure how quite the Nokians are). My hunch is that they perform pretty equally, but the Nokians are probably $50 more per tire. Also, the Germans have tested the crap out of these and are designed for winter Autobahn work. I'd do the 3D's again.

Never tried the Dunlops but I can't say enough good things about my Nokians
the Fins have tested the crap out of the Nokian WR as well and they are designed for pretty serious conditions. i'm just approaching the 50k mark on my Nokians and they have taken me through some scary conditions and i always felt safe and secure.
