Default I'm not Eddie, but I have the answers!

According to Tirerack, the 18x8 VZ does not fit the S4.

I have an A4 with Stoptechs and I have had both 17" and 18" VZs. The 18x8 VZ fit with PLENTY of clearance over the Stoptech.

The 17x8 fit over Stoptechs with enough clearance, but be careful with the wheel-weights!

The 17s weighed about 21-22 lbs. The 18s are about 24 lbs.

Hope that helps.

Default I've saved all the pics of your car... sweetness

I love your car totally.

I have ch's but might want a change. not much lighter than ch's tho. I was expecting more weight savings.

I also hear that the offset is 37mm which I don't mind using some spacers to push them out a bit. 5mm each side or so maybe even less. I am guessing they'll probably fit over s4 brakes if they fit over stoptechs. I wonder if they actually failed at the attempt before.

Maybe I'll just have to get stoptechs. hahaa

Default Thanks! too funny.....

Yep, the VZs are not much lighter than the CH. And, yes, the offset is 37. Seems to fit great, not all the way out to the fender like the CH, though.

You might have to spend some $$$ to get Kinesis, Fikse or some other forged, lightweight wheel if you want to save weight.

Not a lot of other choices that are light weight.

I used 17x8 OZ Crono at the track, and they weighted about 17.5 lbs each. I think the 18's are about 19 pounds... if you like that wheel, anyway.

Default Re: 18" BBS VZ's

We have found them to be VERY close where the backside could interfere with the profile on OEM brakes.. Stoptechs as PeteH points out, will gibve the needed clearance (barely)

Call me if you should need!
