Falken Fk452 review

I thought I'd put this up since it's a relatively new tire, and I've been driving on them for almost a month now. I was deciding between these and azenis rt615, treadwear became the deciding factor for me.
Dry Grip: Coming from falken ziex512 all seasons, I have to say the increase in dry grip is astounding. They feel very close to the performance levles of azenis in the dry, but don't hold up to competition-level heat as well.
Wet grip: best tire I've every had in the wet. It's able to take full throttle acceleration in the rain, very stable at speed too, doesn't seem to want to hydroplane at all.
Ride noise: definitively quieter than the stock michelin pilots that came on my rsx
Ride quality: kinda rough. my ride was relatively still smooth with just coilovers, but going up from 16" to 17" wheels, and the stiffer sidewalls made it substantially rougher. Sidewall was so stiff that when i got a flat, it barely bulged at all to the side, had to check the air pressure to make sure. I could only tell because the handling felt off
Price: Dirt cheap compared to the crappy michelins that came on the car. I paid ~$105 per tire in my wheel/tire package.
Overall: Very good tire, but I hope you can take a beating, because they are rough riding. We'll see how long they last at 280 treadwear, that'll determine whether i buy them again or try the toyo t1-r

Anyone ever see 2 bubbles on one tire before? As for the set that would not balance, 2 different Hunter GSP9700, one at the tire shop and one at the Audi dealer....on relatively new BBS RX. Nope, will not balance. Fully irritating and cost me time and money, about $100 for all the BS and 2 days of running around.

I am pretty happy so far with the over all performance of this tire. Great for big wheel/tire combos. It looks like thats what they were intended for on Falkens FK452 web site.
