Default Unfortunately, Ronal isn't going anywhere any time soon. They are an OEM manufacturer for a...

number of wheel companies (my Oettingers are made by Ronal) and car manufacturers. I have to believe that any revenue that they generate from selling wheels on forums like this is just icing on the cake.

It's a shame that they (read: Gary) treat people so badly, but a lot of genuine manufacturing companies are definitely lacking in the customer relations department. They can get away with it because they're building product and rarely deal with the customer directly.

Default I've had good experiences when dealing with Gary, Even call him with generic wheel/tire questions

Whenever I need tires rotated, they do it quick and take care of the wheel by using covered tool bits so no nicks scratches occur during lug bolt removal. You just missed out on a special they ran for a month on the LZ 18" it was for $350 each. They do know their stuff at Ronal in HB.

Default No you're just a dick,

after the treatment you gave me via e-mail I'd NEVER buy from you. In fact I take every chance I get to discourage ANYone from doing so.

Default You just contradicted yourself...

You said, "WE deal in a professional manner, and I don't need to put up with people who have an attitude like yourself"

That doesn't sound professional to me nor to many on the board. Perhaps you meant that "WE" except ME at Ronal deal in a professional manner. Is that it? How are the rest of the crew at Ronal? Are they all as professional as you are? Please clarify.

Thanks, and have a good day.

Default He definitely has a problem with relating to customers....too many folks here with comments

I too, have held my thoughts from this board until now. I bought wheels and tires from him awhile ago and had tire problems once mounted. His attitude was to demean my choice of tires and said I should have spent more money for "good" tires (he sold them to me!). Huh?? He also was argumentative and sarcastic. Unbelievable. He appears to feel that customers are a necessary evil. There are way too many people on this board with negative things to say about his behavior - he should look within and ask why this is so. If not, eventually, he will find himself out of customers and and a result, no one left to be rude and sarcastic to. Good wheels ain't all there is to this.
BTW, if any of the 1000 salespeople in the retail chain I work for were to treat a customer like this once, they would get a warning. If that salesperson were to receive feedback in the qty as shown on this thread, they would be gone asap.
Next time, I will take my business to someone else and make him happy that he will not be inconvenienced by my "stupidity" further.
