Incremental improvements in wet and dry grip over the the CSC2. No losses in other areas such as ride, noise and wear.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>

the fronts when a screwdriver left on the street totally wrecked one of the tires.
There seems to be more wet grip, but I read somewhere that they give up a little dry grip due to the compound. Did you hear anything about that?
MML - there's no diff in the ride quality as far as I can tell.

when the "newer and better" CSC3 has been out for quite some time now. The ads for CSC3 have practically been nonexistent.
Is it because the CSC2 is available in more sizes?
Why do they have two max performance tires? Wouldn't it make sense to stop making the CSC2, release more CSC3 sizes and stop confusing the customers?

The tire isn't a radical departure from the CSC2, just incremental improvements.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>

Size phase-in would be my guess. Conti likely has inventories still left in many sizes and wish to continue promoting the tire. It is also OE on many vehicles so some of those OE sizes will continue to be produced for awhile.
