Default Gary and others...hit or skip on Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 (235-45-17)?

Thinking of pulling the trigger on these @ tire rack, but at $156/tire, I want to be sure. Any other recommendations for summer performance tires besides these? TIA

Default Best rain tire I ever had...
and that's after more than 500,000 miles of driving. Nice turn in response and pretty quiet too.
