Default Gary, Tirerack Road Hazard Insurance

If I get the insurance and get a bubble in my tire, will I get a replacement tire?

I understand the patching/repair for up to $25, but what about bubbles. Do you think it is worth getting.

I have some bubbles in my current tires and need to replace them. My mechanic said it is unsafe to drive on them. I ride on 225/40 18s and plan on getting Goodyear F1-DS3

Unfortunately we don't get to make the choice as to whether this would be covered, as the program is handled by a third party company called Sonsio.

My understanding was that from a safety standpoint, they would want to have it removed before it fails. To determine if it is a defect or road hazard, it needs to be dismounted by a shop authorized by Sonsio. With your Road Hazard Program materials is a toll free claim phone number where they would direct you to a local shop.
